This captivating, pink-bodied vase with bright leather straps pays tribute to the only woman who has ever won the Grand Pardubice Steeplechase to date. This woman is Lata Brandisová, a Countess from an old Tyrolean noble family settled in Bohemia since the 19th century. Although her presence was not entirely welcome in what was until then a purely male sporting affair, Lata stood her ground and fought her way to a historic victory, along with two second-place finishes and one bronze. Her zest for life and unwavering courage continue to inspire to this day. The leather straps on this vase are removable..
