On the edge of oblivion
Time slips through our fingers, like the edge of an edge that cannot be grasped. We try in vain to record its flow in our memoirs and diaries, to capture it in photographs, but we can never truly manage to halt it. The Edge vase symbolises the complexity of the moment. All the impressions that form the background of our lives linger on the edge of oblivion. Our memory gradually fades away until only fragile fragments of memories, dreams, and thoughts remain - shadows and silences that imprint themselves on our souls like sharp edges.
