Vase EMA Heroine 43 cm smoke

The EMA vase draws inspiration from an exceptional woman of Czech music history – Emma Destinová. Despite life's obstacles including an initial lack of recognition, she achieved fame as an opera singer and made a triumphant return to the boards of the National Theatre in the last year of the war, concluding all of her concerts with the Czech national anthem. Her unyielding spirit and ”strength of the throat” is symbolised in the deep triangular shaping of the vase's neck, which lends the Ema vase a distinctive and refined elegance.
