Rony Plesl

Rony Plesl is one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Czech design and glass art. His work consistently explores the potential of glass as a material situated at the intersection of design and fine art.

He has created a series of collections for Rückl that engage with the history of Czech cut crystal, translating traditional motifs into contemporary forms.

His work is represented in public and private collections both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and over the course of his career, he has received accolades such as the Red Dot Award, the Good Design Award, and the Czech Grand Design Award.
