A pattern, fully intertwined with stars will reward a careful observer with a number of stunning details. Rony Plesl designed this highly complex cut to appear lightweight, like a delicate vase embracing cut crystal. The Odette vases are true masterpieces of the glass-cutting craft.
Looking at the complex cut design, no one is surprised that the key to the Odette collection production takes place in the cutting workshop. Only a single glasscutter among the Rückl team is capable of producing Odette’s delicate and extremely demanding design. She spends many hours in absolute concentration and admirable patience. The individual cuts precisely follow one another and the cutter must have both unusually firm hands and perfectly trained eyes.
The one-of-a-kind Odette collection combines two elements of interior design that are in high demand – it embodies minimalism in its shape yet, thanks to its delicate cut, is immediately recognizable, transcending from pure decoration to true work of art. We produce these vases in two practical sizes, maintaining both the elegant shape and unique cut in each version.
